Star Diluent
This Diluent, which has been especially made for Schippers, contains the broad-spectrum antibiotic Gentamycin. The new duo-pack consists of an A-component (antibiotic and buffer) and a B-component (supplements and PH-buffer). This is to ensure that no chemical reactions take place during storage, improving quality.
A number of famous institutes have demonstrated advantages of this product compared to other diluents as follows:
- The sperm cells show little or no damage
- The motility of the sperm cells is increased
- The solution produces almost no foam
The following inclusions are proven in practice:
- Higher conception rate
- Higher numbers of piglets born alive
- Viability of diluted semen at least 10 days
